Tensegrity Bench

As part of the Engineering and Design Studio course, my team and I designed and constructed 2 functional tensegrity benches, utilizing the principles of tension and compression to create a visually striking yet structurally sound piece. This project honed my skills in product design, carpentry, and structural analysis while emphasizing precision, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Tools used include a Computer Numerical Control machine, power tools, and CAD software for 3D Design.
The bench was a hands-on exploration of innovative engineering concepts applied to furniture design.
